Dichtbij

Smartphone application that generates poetry, based on the user's location, the weather, the environment, and the news, among others. Press the button, take a picture, and the app produces a poem tailored to the situation the user is currently in. The app works worldwide.

Dichtbij is a collaborative work, with Mark Boog writing the basic material for the poems in the app and Van der Wens creating the design and user interface. The app received financial support from the Dutch Foundation for Literature.
